Hope Active’s vision is to be a bridge between great people and greater hope! This past year alone, over 2,000 local families were positively impacted by the services we provide. We are proud of what we’ve accomplished. However, we are not satisfied, as that number represents less than 5% of the great people who truly need greater hope in our area.

We’ve seen a 90% increase in requests for the services we provide (for free) to our local communities this year.  Among the services in highest demand are our at-risk mentorship, diaper pantry, education assistance, and our school & juvenile jail visits programs, just to name a few.

​

In addition, we’ve seen a 60% increase in the total number of Hope Active volunteers; people who are engaged, just like you, and determined to “be the change they want to see in the world”. We are a diverse village of nearly 300 people; a mass of dedicated volunteers who are committed to the initiatives of Hope Active.  We are relentless in our quest to bridge those gaps that create unleveled playing fields in our communities.

You can help us to #beabridge as we need financial support to stabilize our annual budget of $501,000. This funding will ensure that we will be here, and that we will have resources available to serve our local communities.  However, we cannot do this without you.

At an early age, I was told that anything was possible for me and to never stop dreaming. It was hard to believe because of the lack of resources that were available. However, I pressed on.   At some point in my journey, I benefited greatly from someone who served as a bridge for my family, offering us a hand-up and not a handout! This gesture put me on the path that I am on today, inspiring within me both passion and action. I hope you will join me on this path as we continue our mission - to provide access by bridging gaps. Let’s give our community access to dream again. We can’t do this alone.
